  Nicely done! I appreciate your thoroughness! I made something similar, except with a lantern (with a battery operated candle) instead of a cross. My greatest challenge was, not being a fisherman, tying the fishing line. I spent no less then 10 hours over a four day period getting that right! That time included going to a sportsman store to get help! t was extremely frustrating. I ended making a jig to hold everything laid over and in just the right position so I could work on it horizontally. And even then, I actually had to develop my own knot. This was a gift for my Pastor, and I'm praying the knots will hold! NO JOKE!

  Shame I can’t post pics of mine. Exotic woods, different styles, my magnets are hidden, use braided line instead of mono of fluorocarbon.
